To further facilitate the test and development of LED based lighting systems Disign Consultants has added a suite of Thermal Imaging devices to its development / test capability.
To maintain LED life and luminous output the LED junction temperature has to be maintained to a particular level as defined by the manufacturer. Often designs do not fully accommodate the high temperature differentials that exist when devices are placed in high ambient temperature.
The Thermal Imaging technology allows Disign Consultants to analyse the thermal characteristics of LED assemblies through the development process thereby alleviating premature failures in production.
